Jimmy Page's Electric Guitars

James Patrick "Jimmy" Page, an English guitarist and songwriter. Jimmy Page was born January 9, 1944. He began his career as a studio session guitarist in London and was subsequently a member of  The Yardbirds from 1966 to 1968, after which he founded the English rock band Led Zeppelin.

Page was ranked ninth in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" in 2003. Many other rock guitarists were also influenced by Jimmy Page, such as Joe Satriani, John Frusciante, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, Tony Iommi, Joe Perry, Slash, and Dave Mustaine.

Page's solo in the famous epic "Stairway to Heaven" has been voted by readers of Guitar World and Total Guitar as the greatest guitar solo of all time.
